Have you ever danced on Mars, seen a play in a planetarium, had your picture taken purely with starlight, or heard beautiful music composed from astrophysical data?

I have.

Since 2014 I have hosted Artists-in-Residence in the Department of Astrophysics at AMNH including the following remarkable people and groups. Some of the results of our collaborations can be found on this website or through the links below. In various cases, multiple artists and scientists collaborated on projects with me together. All of this work is anchored in uncompromising scientific integrity.

Lia Halloran, visual artist

Ali Alvarez, filmmaker

Marcello de Oliveira, noise maker, sound engineer
